Roskilde Cathedral, which is a World Heritage Site. It's a pretty nice building, built during the XII and XIII, and where are buried the Danish kings from the fifteenth century.

On the shore of the fjord have built a Viking Museum, after the discovery of 5 Viking ships submerged in the fjord. The cost of admission to the museum are 100 kr, 80 kr with student ID (about 11 €), and the advantage is that they make guided tours in English, I remember that ours was at 12. You can also do other activities like a walk in a recreation of a Viking ship, but had to pay more. The museum, however I think it's worth, if you are interested in the Viking culture, although the remains of the ships are not in a good condition (one was 20% of what originalmind was). Of course, taking pictures is allowed.

After leaving the museum, we went to get something to eat. Nearby was a terrace of a kebab / pizza, so we sit and catch a menu: kebab with chips and coke for 60 kr, if I remember correctly. From there, we returned to the area of the cathedral and town hall, taking the last pictures and passing the Roskilde
