Frue Kirke Vor Tower
We retraced our steps to go down Nytorv again, and follow down the same street but in the opposite direction, towards the National Museum (
Nationalmuseet ), free entry. There we saw some Viking history, and guard against a great storm that lashed the city throughout the visit and a little more. On leaving the National Museum, we find the Christiansborg Palace (Christiansborg Slot
). As with Vor Frue Kirke, there is a palace in the same location since the twelfth century, when
Absalon built his castle in 1167. Right now, the Palacear as the castle. I was surprised to see armed guards at the castle, on patrol. , we saw from out the night before, and whose official name is Church Federico, but is best known for the former. Has the largest dome in Scandinavia, and construction dragged on for over 140 years due to financial problems, leaving it in many stages like a ruin. Frederiksberg C Park, where the Palace of the same name, Frederiksberg Slot
, a palace of the end of the early eighteenth century, and served as a summer residence of the royal family. The park is very beautiful with greenery and people were seen running and walking, while the palace is no big, yellow building that is not a particularly good condition. That itself is in one of the highest in the environment (which may be at about 30 meters, at most, without overdoing it), so you can take a "view from above" ...
